Instilling a culture of innovation on a daily basis

Our innovative approach

A customer-centric approach

Our innovative approach aims to optimize the organization, costs and ecological performance of logistics operations. It encompasses tools as well as processes and new services. It is also a powerful management tool that unifies our teams.

Our culture of innovation

Identify, develop and deploy forward-thinking projects

At ID Logistics, innovation is cultivated first and foremost in situ, where agility and proactivity make the difference. To achieve this, the Group emphasizes the added value that technology can bring, without neglecting the importance of know-how and change management.

A dedicated structure

An agile organization to deploy disruptive projects

Our innovation team relies on experts from our various departments (robotics, mechanization, IT, operations) to carry out large-scale projects adapted to the needs of each of our countries and our customers.

A collaborative approach

A participatory approach to promote the ideation and implementation of innovation projects

Our innovation challenges and programs (Kings of Innovation, Innovation Games, Roboost Program) foster collective competitiveness within our global operational teams. These competitions generate new ideas based on real issues encountered on the ground, while guaranteeing pragmatic and efficient deployment of the most promising innovations.

Our innovation competitions and programs

Discover how our international competitions encourage the design and dissemination of our innovations every year. An approach complemented by our specific programs focused on new promising technologies in our business sectors.

Our idea-generating competition

A competition involving all our countries to encourage the emergence of new projects. The most relevant are selected by our operations managers to be deployed on a large scale.
Key figures:
120+ innovative projects presented at each edition of the challenge
1,200+ operations managers take part in the project selection

Our replication competition

Complementary to the Kings of Innovation, this competition aims to capitalize on approved innovative projects by replicating them wherever it makes operational sense.
Key figures:
– around 700 innovations replicated on a global level
– 3 projects deployed per site on average

Our robotics program

Roboost is one of our flagship programs. Its goal is to deploy robotization wherever it can bring operational or ergonomic optimization.
Led by all of our countries, this program focuses on the following solutions:
– ‘Goods-to-Person’ preparation
– ‘Robots-to-Goods’ preparation
– Service robots (cleaning, stock management)
– Storage and conveying
– Robotic arms
– Packing

Our intrapreneurial serious game

The Factory competition is based on one of the company’s core values: entrepreneurship. It allows our employees to develop a start-up within ID Logistics via a serious game. 18 multidisciplinary teams from our different countries participate in this competition to create new services and tools.
