Our societal commitments

Being involved in local communities

Our company acts as a responsible corporate citizen involved in the cultural, economic and social life of the regions where it operates

Our Group encourages and supports the initiatives of our employees worldwide. These come in a variety of forms and are adapted to local needs: funding, logistics assistance and knowledge transmission.

Forging lasting partnerships

Since the creation of ID Logistics, we have developed partnerships in the communities where we are located

Some of the lasting partnerships we have forged include the following:

  • In 2004, we created a Brazilian association, IDEBRA, to bring about social transformation in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro by promoting the social and professional integration of some 200 young people every year through sport and academic support.
  • In 2014, a partnership was signed with the French national artistic and cultural education programme “Le Trophée d’Improvisation Culture & Diversité” with the aim of giving pupils in high-priority schools an introduction to improvisational theatre.

Ethics and responsible procurement

We undertake to act with rigour and integrity, in accordance with our Code of Ethics

Our rules are clear and apply to both ourselves and our suppliers. They cover:

  • Our relationships with our stakeholders: specific measures are set out (practices relating to gifts, donations or sponsorship) based on a risk assessment encompassing highly specific criteria. A Whistle Blowing system is also in place within the Group.
  • Our responsible procurement policy combining competitiveness and sustainable development. Each of our suppliers and partners undertakes to comply with a CSR – Responsible Procurement Charter. We value suppliers that, like us, manage their environmental and societal impacts
  • Lastly, we fully support the principles of the United Nations Global Compact which we signed in 2021.
